In a nutshell the school is investigating the fact that the clinical instructor did not follow protocol when jacho was at the clinical site and the students from the clinical are in trouble because another student told and turned all the other students in because she believes the group was in agreement to not show up and inform the school about jacho so now we're nervous that we will be dismissed from the program in our last term can they do this
So had the meeting basically was told we are in charge or our education and we should of told the school their still making us attend simulations for hours been there for three weeks now I have my proctor exam Monday and final the following Monday so idk how it will go trying to stay positive and pass but I feel like there's no hope or point
Why is there no hope? And how are you in charge of your education? What does that mean? The school has no accountability to you? Is your school by any chance an expensive diploma mill? Are they accredited? What are their NCLEX pass rates? This whole situation seems off.
I think what that means, is that even though the CI was willing to give the students credit for attendance and conceal the issue from the school, the students should have had the integrity to say "No, we weren't there. We need to either reschedule the shift, or do these on-campus assignments you say we'll have to do."
Well she said if we tell the school we will have to do on campus assignments etc students wrote back "no don't tell the school" I wasn't one of them, but the teacher said we will meet up outside of school and that's what we did the following week she text and cancelled clinicals again she text about 5am the morning of and also text saying attendance issues have been fixed so I checked my attendance for the day we didn't even meet and she put 100 percent after the fact[/Quote]
2 thoughts, 1 is that the professor is in a position of authority and you felt under duress if you said anything. The other thought is that you could also take legal action against the said professor for causing harm to your education by committing fraud or whatever. I would definitely talk to a lawyer if you are at risk of getting kicked out of the program. It would be money well spent.
How do you have a 3.56 GPA?You would help the general public and present yourself more professionally by consistently writing in sentences.
Good luck! I hope it all works out!
There, Fixed it for you. Also, he did write in sentences, they were just very long ones. I believe you meant to say that he should not write using run-on sentences.
If you are going to play grammar police, then at least check your own comments before posting.
I guess I just felt hopeless. I told about my attendance not marching was hoping that counted for something. I trusted my teacher to make the right decision and didn't expect her to risk her job etc like this. I took my ati today leveled a 3 YAY, but I feel like I can't even enjoy the "fruits of my labor. " This has been going on for four weeks now and now "final decision" has been made.

So what was the final decision? Do you need to make up the time in skills lab? Sorry, I got a little lost.

I totally agree. This is mostly the instructor's fault and it stinks you now have to worry about this due to that. I really don't understand why people can't be adults and address those things with other adults before doing something like that. I am beginning to think the majority of people in the world love drama because this happens constantly. Sorry OP, keep us updated, I am sure it will work out but I can understand being very concerned about this.
