Scholarships

Does anyone know any avenues to find nursing scholarships? I am

-a practical nursing student

-african american

-male

-single parent

-3.3 GPA

-Public Assistance reciepient

-I commute to school everyday

-I work part time

School is expensive, flat out....Im just trying to find some help to get me over this hump, if anyone knows of anything available please comment. I went to my schools, financial aid department they said they have nothing. So anything will be extremely helpful.

    Try going to zinch.com or fastweb.com. They have some scholarships listed there. Also if you are attending a community college, you may try looking into if you campus has a Phi Theta Kappa chapter. They offer tons of scholarships just for Phi Theta Kappa members.
