Hi Everyone, I was wondering if anyone could direct me to some sites for scholarships. I am starting nursing school on May 8th, and I was just informed that my financial aid will not cover my tution-please help. I have received some loans, but I still need more money.

I can only think of one off the top of my head

Also, check the school's financial aid office. They sometimes have a list for you.

check out your local hospital websites. You don't necessarily have to be an employee to apply.

Good luck, and apply to ask many scholarships as you can!!! I know how expensive nursing school can be- I was lucky when I went to get a large scholarship from my aunts work- otherwise I wouldnt of been able to go to the school of my choice!

I was just looking over my loans thinking about how much nursing school costs:( Yikes..
The stress of having to pay all that money back makes me sick to my stomach.
I know that there are loan repayment programs, called the best in care, so I am not as worried about the loans. I will check into some of the hospitals.

Here is a website with a crapload of nursing scholarships. They're listed alphabetically, though. You can't just search. You have to actually click on and read every one. There's well over 100 scholarships listed.
