I graduated on May 12th and it's been a LONG wait for the state to finally issue authorization to test with Pearson. July 7th at 8 AM is the big day.
Our nursing program gave each graduating nurse a scholarship "gift" of the Kaplan 4-day NCLEX prep. I've been doing practice Q-Bank questions nearly every day. So far, I'm doing pretty well on the trainers & Q-Banks. I simply cannot wait to get this over & done with. I have a job lined up and I cannot start until I pass the NCLEX, per their policy.
took my boards yesterday at 1230 finished about 2 with 91 questions... i am going crazy waiting.... anyone know how long the wait time is for ohio till youll see ur license either active or closed on the obn verication site?
I don't know the wait time for Ohio since I live in IL, sorry. You might be able to search and see what other Ohio test takers have said. But I know that Ohio participates in quick results... so at the very most, it'll be roughly 48 hours. I know that doesn't help much, but at least you're not alone in the wait.

I take my test next Monday at 10:30. I had been doing Kaplan questions but abandoned the Qbank with 500 questions to go in favor of a free 1-week trial with Uworld. I had already finished all of the Kaplan Question trainers. I hope it is the right strategy. I would love anyone's opinions who has used both and took the exam!
I passed! I FREAKIN' PASSED! I felt good about it, but man, it wasn't real until I actually saw it... I still had that inkling of doubt in the back of my mind. I'm so relieved!
So today I took my exam! I arrived two hours early (b/c I'm cool like that) and they let me start. I finished with 75 questions. Fingers crossed and congrats to all that have passed!

B--------just patiently wait :) My advice is: clean the hours to put antsy energy into positive!

We're almost there! This wait is seriously killing me too.
