Hello . I am starting this thread for anyone who has applied for the fall 2012 start suffolkc.c.c. nursing program. I have applied for the Ammerman day program. I was hoping to find some company on my journey to acceptance day(hopefully:)).

Hey guys i am looking to apply for next year. I was just wondering if it could be as simple as just filling out the normal application for sccc. Is there a separate application for the nursing department that i just cannot seem to find? Cause usually schools want you to write an essay, recommendation letters, etc. So i was just wondering if you guys could help me out with how you did it :)

Hello,

Once you complete all your prereq's, if you are a current SCCC student, you go to admissions and fill out a change of emphasis form and *wait* to hear.

There is a nursing information thing they do, call admissions and ask about it. You will get some good information.

I applied to 5 schools and there was only 1 that required an essay and letters of rec! Youre not crazy! It was that simple =) good luck kaywal!

I got accepted into Stony Brook Nursing Program(Day program in Selden) and I want you know that I am going to drop my seat in Suffolk. There will be an opening for you:lol2: I know

there are a few people who accepted their seat in Suffolk, got into Stony Brook also. So there are going to be more openings:yelclap:

I've applied for the Fall 2012 Program, and am currently wait listed , but have faith;-) I am just wondering if anyone has heard anything from the wait list or has any information regarding the wait list to ease my nerves... Hey regirock I have clinicals on Thursdays in West Islip. Classes Mon, Wed, and Fridays. I'm wondering if we already know each other. Did u take all your pre-reqs at Grant? I was in Micro last semester and I know many people were trying to get in for this fall from that class as well as my A&P classes.
