This thread was started for everyone who will be attending the 2011 SCCC Ammerman Campus Day RN program. I think it might be worth it to have a thread especially for us, so that we can keep in touch with our fellow students, talk about issues that come up in class and help each other out when necessary.

Do you guys have your CPR cerificate yet? I just registered for a class in Lindenhurst. So much to do before class starts. Also, another physical, which I already took earlier in the year.
I went to the American Red Cross in yaphank it cost 65. I didn't know it was for recertification the instructor said there shouldn't a problem and I should receive my certificate in the mail in about a week.
Hampton chic, I'm not 100% positive. But I looked at the student handbook from last year and it says you need your BLS cert through American Heart Association. You should just make sure that yours will be acceptable through red cross.
