This thread was started for everyone who will be attending the 2011 SCCC Ammerman Campus Day RN program. I think it might be worth it to have a thread especially for us, so that we can keep in touch with our fellow students, talk about issues that come up in class and help each other out when necessary.

Nope unfortunately not, the nursing courses have to be taken in the order and semester they say.
Damn, ok thanks I was hoping that some how they would I'm getting my bacehlors in psych in may and all I would have left to complete are the nursing courses.
Yeah I was in the same situation. Graduated in may and started nursing program in fall, I could take more nursing classes since that's all I have left, but we're not able to.
That's awesome.. I can't wait to be able to get started I feel like its going to take me forever. I wish I would have figured out that I wanted to do nursing sooner rather than later because im in my second to last semester right now majoring in psych lol. I really hope I will get excepted to suffolk or another good rn program. I'm taking the rest of my pre-reqs in the fall/summer so it will be a while before I can start. Did you have all A's in the pre-reqs?
Hello I am not sure if anyone checks this site still, but I have a few questions. I have all A's in my pre requisite courses. My counselor says I am pretty much a lock for a seat in the Day 2012 ammerman day program, can i bank on what he said to be true? When in May do they notify you regarding acceptance or not? Is the orientation always in June? Lastly, How is everyone finding the program? Any info would help. Thanks sooo much.
