This thread was started for everyone who will be attending the 2011 SCCC Ammerman Campus Day RN program. I think it might be worth it to have a thread especially for us, so that we can keep in touch with our fellow students, talk about issues that come up in class and help each other out when necessary.
if you are reading this now, you have probably been accepted into the program... Congratulations

Let's work together so that we can be the best both as students and in our future careers.
HELLO everyone!!!! Tomorrow is the last day to pay for your bill and return the medical forms. I went to Financial Aid today to see if they cover the cost of ATI they said no but they can give a loan on the book grant which is available the next day and that money can be used for anything including ATI. I hope this helps someone. Only a few more weeks till we begin our crazy yet amazing journey.
Im considering going to sccc for nursing. I havent taken any prereqz yet. What do i put on the application for admission into the college? General studies or nursing?
You'd be general studies, as you can't put nursing until you've taken the pre-reqs and have been accepted into the nursing program.
Well, the clock is ticking. Monday's almost and I can't say that I'm not nervous about what we are getting into. I plan on studying my butt off this weekend to make up for the lack of study all summer.
I just want to wish you all well and I can't wait to get to know you. Hopefully in 2 years time we will all be happily employed as RN's in some prestigious, high paying hospitals. Good luck guys.
CLASSES CANCELLEDI just found this on the SCCC website:
"SCCC Closing Notice: For Sat 8/27 through end of day Mon 8/29, all day and evening classes and activities for all campuses are cancelled."
It might be a good idea to re-check the website later in case there are any changes.
Too bad I was looking forward to the first day. Good luck next week everyone!

The Nurse Logic module is located under the My eLearning tab. You will then see Nurse Logic, click on the + that is to the right of it to access that module. I haven't done it yet as I haven't paid, but I saw where it was located. Hope that helps.
