SCC ADN Fall 2020

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello!

Haven't seen a thread for Sac City's Fall 2020/Spring 2021 nursing application yet and thought I should create one. Good luck everyone! ?

241? wow! And we still have 4 days to go! Has anyone turned in their packet at SCC lately? Curious as to what number they're at.

I’ll submit mine tomorrow and let you know!

Then did someone earlier say they tell us by email in April right? I was thinking 6 weeks after the close of the application.

Also, how many people if you guys know are accepted to the programs

I went to an informational meeting at SCC. They said they do applications once a year for Fall and next Spring. They said they take 30 for each and I believe it was 10-15 alternates for each as well. So, 60 total get accepted with 20-30 for alternates. I have no idea about ARC though except that they do applications twice a year.

And yes, it looks like last year's class got notified around late April.

It appears from previous comments from this post, that more people have applied to ARC than SCC so far. Does anybody have thoughts as to why this is? This is my first round applying so I'm in the dark. Since SCC is taking both Fall and Spring applicants and ARC is just this Fall, you would think that the same amount would apply to SCC as well.

Perhaps SCC will get a swarm of applicants last minute and mess with my mind. lol

April 15th. From previous posts from last round, Sierra will be first, SCC second, then ARC last.

I know last time the application period was until April 15th, and people heard on the 16th. This year looks like the applications close on feb 28th.

I noticed that too. That's why I'm curious about SCC and what number they are on. I applied to both and the last person said they were #77 at SCC. That would be amazing if it was still near that considering they take 60 for sure. lol. Maybe people didn't have the points for SCC, but did for ARC?

We still have to keep in mind that there are mail in applications as well. I figure to add at least 75 to the number posted because some people out of area will use the mail for app and drive if accepted.
