Nursing Students School Programs

Hello!

Haven't seen a thread for Sac City's Fall 2020/Spring 2021 nursing application yet and thought I should create one. Good luck everyone! ?

@Ana55 Maybe someone declined their spot in the program and you've been moved up from the waiting list into their spot? If so, congratulations!

Hello. I’m just curious if anyone else received a letter last week from Sacramento city College for acceptance in the LVN program? It came out of the blue since I got my denial letter last April.

Sounds excellent for you!  Congrats if you choose this route!

Hi,

My roommate and I are looking for a third roommate to move in on Jan 1st-Feb 1st. It's a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath apartment in midtown, Sacramento. We have a washer/dryer in the unit plus a dishwasher. It's about a 7 minute drive from the sac city campus (but lectures will be on Zoom anyways LOL).

We are both 35 year old females. I will be a 4th semester nursing student in Spring 2021. My school is in the bay area so I will be in the bay area for clinicals during most of the week and come back and work weekends in Sacramento, so I will barely be home. My job is across the street from Sac State Folsom Hall and that's an 8 minute drive for me from the apartment (no freeway). My roommate is not in the nursing field, she works a standard M-F 8-5 job.

The rent is $500 a month not including utilities. The upstairs bathroom would be shared with me. We prefer a nursing student (or any student) because they tend to be more serious and quiet. My roommate already has two cats so we ask for no additional pets and no smoking.

Feel free to email me if you're interested or know someone who is interested. [email protected]

Thank you!

Hello girls,  I am new here .  I applied to SCC lVN program for the 3rd time.  my application still say submitted. I was looking back they didn't reply me till end of April last two times about rejection letter.   so I got my fingers crossed this time.  good luck to you all.

I don’t know if anyone from previously is reading this, but those of you who got into a Speing semester, when did they contact you? I got into Spring ‘22, and it’s kinda nervewrecking cause I do not know what to expect

The LVN program right? When you got your acceptance letter they should’ve given you a packet with a list of things you needed to complete. You still have plenty of time since you don’t start till Spring of next year though. I would contact the nursing dept admin Shannon Rodrian if you do not have that packet.

Hi there,

I got your DM but can't figure out how to reply ? We started getting information in early December for Spring '21. Just keep checking your school email. I know it's hard to wait, my class was anxious to get started too and it felt like they were taking forever to get us the information. Don't worry, you'll what you need so you'll be prepared to start. You can make sure you've got your CPR/BLS certification taken care of and make sure you're up to date with your immunizations for now. Congratulations and good luck!!
