I thought I remembered hearing that ARC was going to announce the Spring 2021 cohort in September. I have been anxiously waiting. Has anyone heard anything in regards to if they are still making a selection for Spring? I have reached out to the ARC department heads but haven't heard anything back yet. The website says this:

Due to COVID-19, the ARC Nursing Program will not be accepting applications in fall 2020 for Spring 2021 cohort. Please check back in January 2021.

It's not clear, though, if they are still choosing a Spring 21 cohort and if they are selecting from those of us who applied back in February.

Dear Fall 2020 Nursing Program Applicant,

Due to the impact of COVID-19, the selection of the Fall 2020 cohort has been delayed until January 2021. Please see below for details.

Application status update - on or before June 1, 2020

Class selection - September 1, 2020 (selected, alternate, and students that are not selected will all be notified)

Cohort start date - January 2021

If you no longer wish to be included in the selection for the January 2021 cohort, please let us know.

We appreciate your patience as we navigate this unprecedented time.

I suspect we won't be hearing from them until September 1st or later, just because that's the pattern a lot of the other nursing programs are following these days. They set a deadline, deadline passes, and then we hear something.

I received this reply from ARC:

"We plan to send notifications in the beginning of September."

So we are still on track ?

Did they include your name either on the letter or email response? Mine says that I’m not selected either :( , but I’m wondering why they would not include our name on either an email or a letter that is attached to the email.

Hey everyone...

this is a question for the current students at Sac City. I feel so grateful to have a choice of schools as I was picked for a couple. I am trying to see what Sac City is like? Where are you doing clinicals? Are you doing clinicals? What do the professors have in place to help You continue instead of stopping and repeating (as ARC did). Any details you have would be so greatly appreciated. You can message me privately or put it here. I just need some help!

I applied for ARC and didn’t get in but I did make it into Sac City. This is a great question for current students. Thanks for answering if you can!

Hello. I’m just curious if anyone else received a letter last week from Sacramento city College for acceptance in the LVN program? It came out of the blue since I got my denial letter last April.
