Hello!

Haven't seen a thread for Sac City's Fall 2020/Spring 2021 nursing application yet and thought I should create one. Good luck everyone! ?

My status says “received” as of 2/10.

For ARC, do we have to include course descriptions. I don’t think we do, but just want to make sure!

And they don’t want the electronic copy of the teas right?

They will ask for electronic verification/copy if you get accepted into the program. Unlike other schools they don't have you pay the ATI transcript share fee upfront.

Question for ARC application... what are your thoughts?

I have the points with using my first TEAS attempt. (First score was a 73 YIKES I KNOW!)
I took it a second time and got an 86 which obviously just looks better.

what would you guys do? Submit the first score since I hit 75 points on the criteria sheet with the 73 TEAS

or submit my better score to have more points and make my application. “Look better”. I know they say it’s totally random Selection but would you want your app to be with the better points?

if I submit the second score I have to turn in the remediation paperwork which could take 2 weeks

Will you be able to get your remediation pw in on time. If you are not able to then I don't think you would have a choice. I would submit with the better score if you could get docs in. You qualify with your score either way and as long as everything else is good you are lottery eligible.

Shoot ya I don’t know if I could get it in in time. I think deep down I want to submit my better score but I’m pressed for time so I think this application period I will submit my lower score then I’ll send in my remediation paperwork for the better score.

I submitted my packet today to ARC #92 and #46 at SCC yesterday! The lady upfront told me to wait 8 weeks after the end of February, let the waiting game begin and good luck to all of us!

I submitted for ARC (#125) and SCC (#68) on the 18th! Do we get emails for acceptance/denial or will it be on eservices?

I think it said we get emails to our los Rios Email but I could be wrong lol so many schools so many different ways! I forgot to post I was #114 on the 12th for ARC. I was early with SCC #9

I submitted today and was #77 at SCC. They send an email to your Los Rios email sometimes in April!

Oh goodness! The application closes this week! Then about 6 weeks to wait haha!
