Hello!
Haven't seen a thread for Sac City's Fall 2020/Spring 2021 nursing application yet and thought I should create one. Good luck everyone! ?

I was number 14 for SCC and number 25 for ARC. Praying I get in this time, it’ll be my 6th and 7th nursing applications, 2nd time for SCC, and 3rd for ARC. Also submitting to Sierra for the first time once I hit the 200 minimum volunteer hours. Sending support to everybody as we go through the waiting game again!
It's my second time applying too! Do you know if we have to resend TEAS scores from ATI again if we already did it the previous year?

Yes! I’m pretty positive that the person answering emails was annoyed with me for my questions lol, but I just wanted to make sure it was clear because that’s more money I have to spend! It sucks, but we do have to pay to resend the TEAS scores again and I believe the AP scores too if you’re using any. I still need to resend mine, but since that’s done electronically, it wasn’t necessary to be able to turn in my application with the unofficial hard copies. From what I remember, you cannot send them directly to the nursing department but to the school in general... that’s what I did last year and I still got application qualified so somehow that info was given or visible to the nursing department I’m thinking.

It will be like another 2 1/2-3 months. Last year for the same application period, they informed us Monday, April 22, 2019 in the evening. ARC sent emails Tuesday, April 30, 2019 in the morning.
No problem! So I’d say just try to relax until we hit mid-April, then start email checking lol. Save yourself the anxiety for another 2 months! Haha. Also you had asked about the number on your packet. You should be fine as long as you signed the sign in sheet! Maybe they changed the rules, though I was instructed to write my number on the packet both last year and this year.
Ya no the lady at the counter (young girl) took my packet- I specifically asked her for the packet back so I could write my number and she said I didn’t need to- I know my number was 9 where I signed in on the binder. But I also saw my status change to application received. Meaning the nurses office has it so I figure I’m good now. I did have my name, program information, and student ID on the Manila envelope- so i think I’ll be ok.

Last year they kept everyone’s status updated throughout the process! My SCC status also says received, although it updated to that this morning before I turned in the entire application, which is odd.
