  1. IDK if anyone still looks at this, but I went ahead and applied for the LVN program at Carrington very quickly after getting my 3 rejections this semester. That put me at 12. 12 rejections to RN programs. I’m going the LVN then LVN to RN route, maybe even do my master’s one day! Sending hope for everyone here that you get in the next cycle if you didn’t this time. Stay determined and do what you gotta do to get to where you want to be!
  2. Also got my rejection email. That’s a full 3 this round again. I’ve been rejected so many times, this round was really soul crushing honestly. Going to see about taking pharmacology for Yuba and looking at private schools. Still not getting in is really putting a lot of things on hold even longer for me. I feel for everyone else not getting in anywhere whether it’s your first, second... fifth or sixth round. Nonetheless, good luck to everyone getting to their goals! And congratulations to those who got in at any program! See some of you guys on the next nursing apps thread! ?
  3. Not for ARC. ARC keeps the documents. You can probably find the info online still. They should send a little document with the rejection about next time’s applications!
  4. Yeah, it’s probably coming tonight still. Last time they sent stuff out later in the day like this, my rejection came at 7:49 PM.
  5. Most likely yes, especially since someone got an alternate email.
  6. I get scared to check my email while working today in case I lowkey need to shed a tear or two based on the result. ? The not knowing exactly when is what’s tough!
  7. Now I’m worried we won’t find out until Monday if people were still getting qualified last night! We’ll see!
  8. April 30th, 2019 my rejection came at 9:05 AM. It came at 9:33 AM in November 2019 for the fall apps. I got another rejection for Spring 2020 apps in September 2020 at 7:49 PM (pushed off bc covid).... IDK if this info helps at all but hopefully it will be by tomorrow morning.
  9. Like 3 different times today I almost posted a comment about my anxiety today and decided not to. I refresh all the time! I reaaaaally hope it’s by tomorrow. I just need this misery of waiting to end, whether I cry happy or sad tears. Just let me get it over with! Glad to know I’m not alone in this excruciating wait. Distractions only help me so much!
  10. Just got updated to qualified at 1:45 PM! I had turned in my application the last week we could, just a couple days away from the deadline. Hopefully we get the answers tomorrow. I’m a ball of anxiety after rejections from Sierra and SCC... yet again. I wanna get the happy or sad tears out already! Edit: Right after I posted this I got an email at 1:50 PM with official confirmation of an SCC rejection.
  11. My application finally updated 3/14 to received. Had me a little worried! Hoping so hard to get good news! We’ve still quite a wait to go!
  12. Same boat here regarding waiting! This is my 3rd time applying to SCC and 4th time for ARC (but third year, since they do Spring/fall separately), 2nd for Sierra. I have confidence this is finally going to be my time though! And if not, don’t mind me, I’ll just be shedding a tear or two! Haha. Has anyone else’s SCC status update still not changed to received? The school received my application February 22nd. I know it’ll change eventually, but I feel like it’s been a while! Only another month and a half or so until we get results. It’s always such a hard wait!
  13. Sierra College is a lottery system as well. As far as I’m aware, it really is just random for Sierra, SCC, and ARC. I know Sierra assigns people numbers randomly and then those numbers 1-30 (however many students and alternates) are the ones that get in. If they “secretly” take certain factors into extra consideration and whatnot, that’s not shared! Haha it’s luck once you hit the 70 points!
