SCC ADN Fall 2020

Hello!

Haven't seen a thread for Sac City's Fall 2020/Spring 2021 nursing application yet and thought I should create one. Good luck everyone! ?

Hi Everyone, I also applied to ARC and Sierra. Since Sierra College still did their lottery and are proceeding as planned, I'd imagine ARC and SCC would do the same. I think worse comes to worse they may have to modify our start times back a semester. I'm trying to remain positive. This has been an unprecedented event and I know the US really needs nurses right now. Hopefully they will find a solution to keeps the nursing programs running.

Hi. I agree. I also hope that after this more opportunities will open up for colleges to receive additional funding so critical need programs such as nursing can expand their programs.

Did anyone apply for the LVN program as well just to broaden your options?

ARC has reinstated our current nursing program, and will continue with our program as scheduled! Hopefully good news for all you waiting to get in as well!

Hi! Did anybody's application status change? I logged in today and saw that it was updated today 4/8 around 11AM. No application change though ?

Same here. It last updated for me on 3/31/2020 and no change, still "application received."

Nothing for me. Mine still shows application received for both SCC & ARC. No changes since February.

Nothing here. I turned both apps in day 2, and no changes yet. I believe Spring break’s right now so maybe starting next week we’ll start getting application qualified for ARC as that started about mid April last year.

Last year, SCC sent acceptances on April 22. ARC sent acceptances on April 29. Not too long of a wait now!
