Saunders for NCLEX

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I'm using Saunders for studying. However, on the 100 questions exams I am only getting 75%. On the quizzes I get 80-90%, but cannot get above 75 on the exam. In the study mode I def. get more right than wrong. I take the NCLEX on Saturday. Anybody have any advice? Please let me know.

Thanks,

Heather

I have the saunders book and cd and I only found one quiz on prioritization and delegation that only had 10 practice questions. Are there more of these questions on the cd?, if so, under what section would i find them?

I thought Saunders was very similar. I went to the prioritizing section and did many of those. I usually scored in the 75% range..and passed first try with 75 questions.

did many? What book are you using by the way?..if you're referring to saunders 3rd edition, prioritization and delegation is just like 10-20 questions I think. Questions and rationales in CD is just the same with practice question and answers in the book.

i found it...i'm using the 3rd ed. using the cd, if you first click on exam/study mode, then content area, then category-prioritization& delegation you can take a full-length 100 question exam just on this topic alone.

Hello,

Does anyone advice on what book or books I should use to prepare me for the NCLEX? I have the Saunders and Gauwitz books so far. I am still in school and will take the exam next summer sometime...I am so nervous now!

Sachin

Sorry to say that Saunders didn't help me alot when I took mine. Most of the NCLEX questions were focused on prioritization and delegation and the questions and choices in actual nclex exam were totally different from the saunders book..I would say that Mosby's prioritization and delegation book is much closer to the actual NCLEX exam.

I have Mosby's comprehensive review of nursing for the NCLEX-RN examination,I do not find "prioritization and delegation" from book and CD.Can you please tell detail for "prioritization and delegation" from Mosby's CD or book?

Thank you

my nclex is at 8am tomorrow morning, and I was all set to put both myself and Mr. Saunders to bed. these posts got me up for another hour of review for this delegation stuff...

we'll see if it makes any difference, and I'll post here with the preliminary results...

seriously, thanks you all for sharing!
