Saunders for NCLEX

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I'm using Saunders for studying. However, on the 100 questions exams I am only getting 75%. On the quizzes I get 80-90%, but cannot get above 75 on the exam. In the study mode I def. get more right than wrong. I take the NCLEX on Saturday. Anybody have any advice? Please let me know.

Thanks,

Heather

I'm the same way. Get upper 70% on Tests, good on quizzes, but do best in study mode. I am taking NCLEX Sat, as well.

Good luck to you!!

thats about how I am doing. However I am not taking my exam until Sept 17th. Good luck and let me know how it goes :)

Thanks guys for getting back to me. We will see how it goes. Good luck to both of you, and I'll let you know how I did.

I am always on the range of 70's,will be taking mine on Sept 19.

Good luck to you! You'll be in my prayers.

Its not about how much % its about reading the rationale if it's right or wrong that will help you pass nclex.

You guys are all awesome for sharing. Some times I feel like I'm doing this all alone, and then there you all are going through, and feeling the same way I am. I will be praying for all of you. On Sept 17 and 19. We are all going to do great. We got through nursing school, Right?! Haha. Thanks again everybody, and PRAY PRAY PRAY!!!

Sorry to say that Saunders didn't help me alot when I took mine. Most of the NCLEX questions were focused on prioritization and delegation and the questions and choices in actual nclex exam were totally different from the saunders book..I would say that Mosby's prioritization and delegation book is much closer to the actual NCLEX exam.

I'm getting 75% on tests and bummed too. i read the questions and think... 'I've never even heard of that before."

I'm not so sure about Saunders... but i'll hold my official opinion until after I pass the NCLEX.

I thought Saunders was very similar. I went to the prioritizing section and did many of those. I usually scored in the 75% range..and passed first try with 75 questions.

Aprilhere, Hello Do you really think so that Saunders is similar? and which prioritizing section do you mean? It's the CD ROM of the 3rd ed.? Prioritizing delegation is my weakest could you tell me what was your study method to pass the nclex? I will deeply appreciate your response. Thanks!
