has anyone passed using the Saunders comprehensive review only and only that book? im curious. im trying out Suzzanes 6 week review using the saunders book. has anyone actually passed with this method only?

Email Suzanne4 - send her your email address and she will send you her plan. It has a very very high pass rate. And if you look at Saunders you will see why. Excellent book

Where do you get this study guide everyone is talking about?

how about the Q&A of saunders? is it a big help? what is the difference between the comprehensive review and the q&a? is it like a text book?thanks! so that i will know if i still have to buy the comprehensive reviewer other than the q&a.

if you refer to the beginning of this thread, i had also said that i was gonna use this book.[Q&A] but suzzane says that her program will only work if u use the Comprehensive REview book.

does any one have a Saunders review I can borrow or know where I can get the questions I am taking my test a week from today?

wow i think u shud just buy the book since ur taking it in a week. but on the other hand i think its a lil too late to be using that book as a review, it has ALOT of materials, i mean ALOT. i think everyone whos used the book can agree with me on that. also since ur taking the test in a week, i think it would just be too much info all at the same time. if you;ve used other materials to study, i suggest u just stick with it , so you dont confuse urself a week before taking the exam...

THe big differnce between the Q&A and the comprehensive review is that the Q&A only has questions and answers with rationals. comprehensive review is basically what the title says... a review book and has questions at the end of each chapter. much like ur books when u were still in nursing school.

I looked at my friends comprehensive review book that she has today and it only has 25 questions at the end of each chapter. How do you guys practice the questions? Is there a lot that comes on the cd rom or something? I always thought doing questions was the best way to pass. I'm a little confused here.

The number of questions change each chapters...some might have 10 and some will have 50 questions. The CD will have 4000 questions.

i suggest you also buy the saunders q&a book coz it contains 4,000 questions (now you'll get drown with ALOT of questions..hahaha!). you review first the comprehensive book then after that, you practice the q&a. it will be very helpful.God bless!

Reviewng the book is only the first step. The second step is the actual 6 weeks program after you finish the book in the first step. Many of us got confused with this. Somebody claify me if I am wrong.

gosh.....does anyone got done with suzanne's first tip for just 2 weeks?i'm starting it already. But everytime i look at the chapters left,I feel like it would take me til nextyear to finish before i cud start suzanne's 6 weeks plan.I'm quite worried coz'i have plans of taking the NCLEX by dec.

saunder's is really a great book.you can't deny that.it also has helped me pass nclex

To rafRN,

I started doing the book exactly =six weeks ago tomorrow and I am only on Ch. 54. I was gone for a week and didn't do any, but I still only do a little bit each day. At first I almost felt pressured by reading how people do it so fast, leaving me thinking 'I have to finish it fast too or I won't pass'. But you know what, take your time and make sure you feel confident yourself. Even on the tests that I score higher than 75% I still go back and read the entire chapter. Anyway, it will probably still take me another six weeks to finish the book (the chapters are soooooo much longer), but I am taking my time. I've been so busy with my baby that it sometimes takes me three days to finish one chapter, but that's ok with me, since I am finishing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH my!!!!!!!!!if it took u 6 weeks then ur not done yet, then another 6 weeks with the actual program gosh.....then i think i won't be able to take the exam this dec.I'm just wondering how others got done for just a week or 2 hehehe....
