  1. okay i just took the nclex pn a second time yesterday and im sooooooooooooooo nervous and anxious for the results. the lady at the center told us that we could check the results tonite after 9pm but i went onto the pearson website, the website is down for maintenance till tomorrow 6am. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaghh. im so nervous, i duno what to do with myself. since its my second time taking it, theres more pressure for me to pass. also, like the 1st time, computer stopped at 85 questions. so im thinking i bombed it again..but i walked out of that testing center feeling better than i did the first time. this time was not "as bad" . only one med admin question. and tons of pharm. i feel more prepared this time around because i used the Saunders comprehensive review. The rationales helped me how to choose my answers on the test wisely..i took my sweet time on each question.I HOPE I PASSED :uhoh21:
  2. i agreee with jrhyle.. also isnt there a way u can check ur exam scores at least 3 days after the test on the internet? coz i know some states u can actually go to pearsonvue.com and view ur results.

  4. im not too crazy about mosbys .. or any other review material. but i am a big fan of Saunders Comprehensive Review.
  5. yeah it did hurt..thats what i tell myself everytime i see those people, that im gonna prove them wrong.hopefully this second time i pass..hey eric, thanks for all the help in this forum ...:wink2:
  6. i failed my nclex the first time and im about to take it a second time in november...i overheard some of my bf's family members talking about how i failed the NCLEX PN the first time i took it.. they commented on how miserably i failed the NCLEX PN the first time , then i would not survive taking the NCLEX RN..it was more like they were saying that i cant handle becoming an RN if becoming an LPN is "supposed" to be so simple.. i FEEL horrible about this.. how can anyone be so mean. after all i did survive thru LPN school. this just knocks down my confidence level down to a zerooo..please give me some encouragement. it keeps on playing in my like a broken record .. i duno what to do anymore. im supposed to stay focused since im about to take the nclex again and study hard.but this is really hitting me hard.......
  7. my school cost me around 14,000 full time for a 13 month program here in new jersey..
  8. this is the same thing that happend to me. i was soo confident that i passed, couple days later i find out that i F A I L E D .. big fat F...that was the worst feeling ever...
  9. THe big differnce between the Q&A and the comprehensive review is that the Q&A only has questions and answers with rationals. comprehensive review is basically what the title says... a review book and has questions at the end of each chapter. much like ur books when u were still in nursing school.
  10. wow i think u shud just buy the book since ur taking it in a week. but on the other hand i think its a lil too late to be using that book as a review, it has ALOT of materials, i mean ALOT. i think everyone whos used the book can agree with me on that. also since ur taking the test in a week, i think it would just be too much info all at the same time. if you;ve used other materials to study, i suggest u just stick with it , so you dont confuse urself a week before taking the exam...
  11. if you refer to the beginning of this thread, i had also said that i was gonna use this book.[Q&A] but suzzane says that her program will only work if u use the Comprehensive REview book.
  12. ahh i feel the same way.. but like echota says WE CAN DO THIS!!!!!:monkeydance:
  13. Good Luck to you! i totally agree with everything you've said. ..
  14. thats true.. i try to study during the time that im mostly wide awake. its also kind of difficult for me b/c i have a 3 month old daughter. luckily for me, shes not a fussy baby and she sleeps all day.
