Saudi Council license or registration verification

I'm from India. Please, need help with NMC OS2 registration verification, any one gone through Saudi council registration verification?? I'm currently stuck at verification. I was working as a nurse in Saudi Arabia @ hail from 2010 to 2012. Please let me know the process of nursing council verification @ saudi council, since I'm unable to find help from local authorities (shawn@ hail) please correct me if I'm wrong. I contacted Saudi council through my friends in Saudi, they said everything is available online and required only is a good standing cert,which I paid 300SR and received through email, but other than that no further information was available. Kindly need advice on this. I'm running out of time my license validity expires this month ie Jan. 2014.

Thanks for this highly valuable information. I just sent my aunt in their branch in jeddah for the verification of my saudi council license but the officer in- charge told her that the verification wouldn't be possible if my license is expired. Just thinking: how could you be able to renew your license if you're not in the kingdom anymore... I tried to call their toll number in riyadh and one of the agents told me verification will be possible even your license is expired. All you need to do is to obtain a certificate of good standing. I really dunno which protocol is right. lol saudi it is.. :)

yes indeed... even agents don't possess phone ethics... my aunt in saudi arabia was told that transactions as this could be done online but I couldn't find the link and portal...

Yes, they can verify the license even its expired, one of my friend's friend NMC verification of license was done in jeddah branch and her license was expired since 2014.

As long as there is something in the form that states if the license is valid or not, they will do it and they will just tick the "not valid" part.

And she did not presented any good standing certificate.

My situation was i previously work in saudi for 10 months however i resigned because of an emergency family situation that is why i have not claimed my saudi council licence and the process for my registration did not pursue. Now im trying to register for NMC and they are looking for my saudi council license and verification can someone tell me how can i get it???plsss.thank u

Hi Zabyrinah, may I ask if you have processed the Saudi Council ID and the Accreditation certificate? Coz these are the most important thing you need to have for your Verification of license.

If you have processed the Accreditation certificate (which is by the way needed by NMC which is equivalent to PRC board certificate and it is written in ARABIC) but you just haven't got hold of a copy, you can ask a friend to take a copy for you at an extra cost, and you can use it for the VoL,

OR

you can apply for a Certificate of Good Standing (online, but somebody should be in saudi to pay the necessary fees) and I can send you the announcement letter that SCFHS is not currently entertaining verification of licenses, and instead only releasing the GSC,

BUT your main problem will be the Accreditation certificate that you will need to upload in the NMC portal and if you haven't processed it before you left, that would be an issue.

Anyways just now i ask my previous employer in saudi thru facebuk ,thye told me that they did not submit any of my documents in saudi council for registration therefore i dont have saudi council license and verification so i was thinking if i could just tell NMC that i work as a private duty nurse instead of being a staff nurse in polyclinic in KSA do u think it will be alryt and they wouldnt found out about my records? I will just tell my employer to change my job description as PDN if that will be the case.. can u give me advice for this im realy stress and worried thank you

Don't falsify and ask your former employer to falsify. You posted this in a public forum. Why risk lying and the opportunity with NMC?

Do not lie or omit anything that is asked of you by the NMC....... I promise you you will end up being kicked in the backside and may lose license and job........

i apologize for thinking wrong and desperate thoughts. now i know what will be the consequence of that action. so then i will tell the truth that i work as a staff nurse however what will i do because they require saudi council license and certification for that and i dont have one i browse on my documents i saw the aplication forms for my licensing so my previous employer didnt really passed it to them.now what will be my options or actions to take with regards to this? ..thank you.
