SATA Questions: How to answer?

Published

I have been reviewing for quite some time now.. I might be taking my NCLEX end of August and will doing the Hurst Live Review. I hear stories about SATA questions. Guys, can you share your how you answer SATA questions, they always confuse me...

any reply will be much appreciated... God Bless to all NCLEX takers..!

The only advice I have seen is to consider each option separately. Keeps you from getting everything all jumbled in your mind.

thank you... will put this advise in mind... :)

Treat each choice as true or false. That helps you look at each answer inidividually!

I agree with everything said above. I covered each option with my white board and went down the line. If something was true I clicked it. If not, I didn't. If I wasn't sure I skipped it and then went back once I finished the list. You're gonna doubt yourself, I know I did, but just click them off and move on. :)

I did the same as the previous posters. I went down the line one by one and treated them as a true/false type question. That way I didn't overthink by saying well b would be right if you did D..etc..take each one as its own seperate answer.

Does anyone know if the SATA questions are weighted on the NCLEX? For example, if there are 3 correct answers, and you get two correct, does it take it into account?

All or nothing. You have to get them all right to get credit for a correct answer.
