Santa Ana College - ADN Spring 2020

Published

Hello Future Nurses (and current nurses)! I wanted to start a thread for those applying to SAC's ADN program next month, and for those who've already gone through the process. How are you doing on your nursing journey?

For me, I've just finished my prerequisites at Ventura College (started Fall 2015 - YEESH) and moved to the OC. I'll be applying to SAC, Golden West, and Cypress. Anyone else applying to the other two schools?

I recently starting working as a CNA, new grad here. Hoping my experience will be beneficial for when I become a RN (of course it will). I'm on my third day, and already so humbled.

Please fill us in on your journey!

My friend got her Acceptance letter today. Maybe there is still hope... ????

#REJECTED

first time applying to Santa Ana but I’ve been applying to schools in general for 2-3years now. I think I had 79points. I’m currently retaking Micro so I’ll try again in Feb.

Im sorry to hear that! sounds like it was a very competitive cohort.
Im still waiting for the letter. ??

i haven’t received a letter yet, either.

Just got my letter. I applied with 83 points. The range was from 98 to 87.5 points for students accepted. The alternate list was down to people with 84.5 points.

Congrats to everyone that got in!

I received my rejection letter today. I had 85.5 points if I calculated correctly.

Congratulations to all got accepted. I can’t wait to see you all. Good luck for those who got rejected and don’t give up.
I created Facebook group to communicate. The group name is “ Santa ana college Nursing Spring 2020”

Awesome! I’m having a hard time finding the page, do you think you can post the link?

Wow! 80 without the TEAS? That's amazing! You're so competitive I'm sure you'll get in ? I think I saw the cutoff was 82.5 for this past cohort.

did they ask for your CNA certification or just proof of your work experience?

I believe I only included the proof of experience ? if unsure, I don’t think think it hurts to include the certification though!
