Hi momacutay, Second semester seemed a lot more organized than first but it seems to be because of how limited clinicals were due to COVID. A lot of times you feel like your teaching yourself. But it may be because of how much material there is to intake. I would say most of the professors are overall nice and supportive. It’s so competitive out there I honestly would go anywhere accepted. And if I had to retake nursing school I’d be OK with going to SAC again. You can’t really prepare for nursing school. You’ll know what I mean when you get there ?. Just be prepared to learn the information and be able to apply it. It’s not just memorization.

WOW!! That’s awesome for the ones that were waiting. I didn’t realize that many people would turn down their spot, specially during this time where not many schools are open.

Have any alternates heard anything? It might be too soon but just wondering.

I’ve noticed that before. But the website says Spring 2020 cut off was 76-77 and the PP says that’s the cut off for Fall 2020. Which doesn’t make sense since people in the 80s are alternates or didn’t get in

Another waiting game. As people decline their invites they will chose alternates between now and July. Letter says they will not be disclosing any further information regarding the alternate pool.

I’m an alternate (unknown #) and I’m pretty sure I had 80 points.

I just received the letter from Saddleback. I’m an alternate but it does not give me what alternate number I am..Still in limbo I guess

I’m in the same boat. But I ended up accepting SAC by their deadline. I was under the impression that if I still get accepted to Saddleback I can then rescind my spot at Santa Ana and accept Saddleback. Of course I feel bad doing that. But Saddleback just works best for me. Either way I’ll be fine since I’m happy I have a spot after applying/waiting 3 years.
