Hi All,
Anyone else apply for the SJVC program that starts April 2022? I applied, and had my interview a few days ago. Still waiting on the financial aid call, when I followed up they stated they were running behind on calling applicants. They won't notify anyone of their acceptance until the week of February 28th, that is if they are not running behind. I pray that one of the programs I applied for has a spot for me.
I don't know if you can apply for a loan yourself, but try to find a student loan that is serviced by the federal government (mine is through Great lakes) https://mygreatlakes.org/. the rates are lower and if they do any pauses in payments like mine during COVID, it would apply to yours as well. I don't know if private company loans have to listen to the federal government or anything if they change how loans work once you have one.

Yes, but best way to think about it is after its done, if you making paying it off a priority with extra shifts and stuff it'll be easy. I saw around Fresno was even offering 10K bonus when hired, but im sure that's a minimum years employment agreement for that.
