Hi friends, my name is John. I'm new here and wanted to start a thread for those applying for the Fall 2014 admission at SJDC. I've read similar threads about past classes and found them interesting and informative.
I just finished up Physiology (still nervously waiting for my grade) and I'll be taking the TEAS at Modesto JC on 12/20. After that I'll be putting together my application!
I just noticed on Delta's ADN site that the TEAS will be offered at the Stockton campus the second week of January. Still no information on when the actual application period is going to be.
Anybody else want to share any thoughts, concerns, rumors, or advice?
They emailed me saying they have open spots, based on my score they are inviting me to send in supporting documents, my deadline is June 26. The only extra points I have is a license and 200+ hrs of exp. only giving me 1 point, lol. Other than that everything is fairly straight forward.
Im nervous to get excited about this, it's a strange situation, I mean... Everyone else was accepted so long ago! I wonder if there will be a alternate list at this point? I'm picking up my official transcripts tomorrow, I plan on hand delivering everything Wednesday. This is going to be a long wait! I'll just keep my fingers crossed until July 14th
Oh and is anyone else confused with the Guidance (Eng 33A optional class) class date and time? It's for MW 12:30-1:30pm but most clinicals are on TW 6:30-3. I'm a little unsure on how that is going to work if we decide to take that class too. Any thoughts/answers?
I just got my registration date and its July 10!! I hope this date will allow me to pick a clinical site that is not on sat-sun!! Im freaking out cause I get married on a sunday in september! This is stressful already!

I know right? I was thinking of taking it but I do not want to do clinicals on sat. and sunday just to accomodate that class. Do you think the health sciences dept would be able to clarify this?
my date is june 26 @ 10:30 am .... I'm pretty bummed out about that since ive been a delta student for so long now i thought id get an earlier date. oh well as long as I can still get into a good site.
I created the page but I do not see a request to join page. I think all you need to do is like the page and when someone writes on the page you will get a notification. I'm not excatly sure, this is the first page I've created, but there is no spot to add friends or people. There's just a spot to invite friends to like the page. You can add comments and post stuff even if you don't like the page. Hope this helps.
