San Joaquin Delta College ADN Fall 2014

Published

Hi friends, my name is John. I'm new here and wanted to start a thread for those applying for the Fall 2014 admission at SJDC. I've read similar threads about past classes and found them interesting and informative.

I just finished up Physiology (still nervously waiting for my grade) and I'll be taking the TEAS at Modesto JC on 12/20. After that I'll be putting together my application!

I just noticed on Delta's ADN site that the TEAS will be offered at the Stockton campus the second week of January. Still no information on when the actual application period is going to be.

Anybody else want to share any thoughts, concerns, rumors, or advice?

When you go to class schedules online the Fall 2014 schedule is up. It's under NURSADN.

I'm from Lodi.

I'm from the Lodi area.

is anyone here from the modesto area?

I'm from Tracy:)

Hi everybody, I wanted to know are we required to purchase the ATI package or can we get our books from somewhere else?

Hi Manjot, I believe the ATI package is a mandatory required fee that you pay to ATI. Yes, you do get the books. However, I think the costs associated is also having online access taking ATI practice exams & actual proctored exams (i.e. mat/Ob, mental health, fundamentals, pharm, etc) which sometimes are part of your lecture grade that instructors have part in their curriculum. [Otherwise, I know, it's so much cheaper just to purchase the books elsewhere and be done with it].

Other than that, the actual textbooks you can purchase them elsewhere.

Hi, thanks for the info. I was given a spot last week in the program, so I am just getting started now on getting everything done. It's a little overwhelming, but I am getting a hang of it!

Hi everyone! So long story short.... I just received notice from SJDC to send in supporting doc's, very unexpected!!! So.... What does this mean? This is my third year in waiting to get into a program, is it safe to get excited maybe?

Specializes in Cardiac Telemetry.

I got a call today too! Told me to turn in a bunch of stuff before the 26th. I was in a program in Southern California but had to move back because of a bunch of problems that added up, but now that I'm close to home this is like a second chance and I'm taking it if I can get in

Wow, lucky us.... Maybe? Do they make more cuts after asking for supporting docs (provided your documents are in line with your application)? I'm fighting getting my hopes up, I'll just keep my fingers crossed!

Does anybody know if a facebook page has been set up yet? Just wondering..
