San Joaquin Delta ADN Spring 2015

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Anyone who is applying for the Spring 2015 ADN program at San Joaquin Delta College care to share info with one another? A thread hasn't started yet and the application is set to be opening on September 2. Does anyone know the point range cutoff from last semester? I hope this is the last application I have to submit... Good luck to everyone!!!

Hello all,

I was at st joes today and I talked to a couple of delta adn students and asked them the PDA question. They said they are allowed to use their phones, however; only to reference nursing material. The students said the school will actually provide the tool we will need on our cell phones it's called Nursing Central I think, and the best part is that's its free :) Woohoo!

No luck in finding that group in fb.

I was actually accepted into a very similar Facebook page but found out later it's based out of New York, so no help there. I can't seem to find that page either!

Any comments on alternates would be appreciated. Do you know any alternates who got in? Or people who declined?

I have no information, but orientation is later this week. If I hear anything about alternates, etc., I will post the info for you.

Anyone buy professional please let me know how much does it cost per 1 year? I check on the web and it say student is 35$ per year but when I apply it quote 101 $ per year. Please advice

I also can not find any Facebook group for our class. Anyone have the link please add me in or provide the link to me. Thank!

Hello Thanh,

The insurance is that expensive if you already hold a professional license such as a license for vocational nursing. You would think it would be less :/ remember to call them back once you buy it because they have to add the student policy to your certificate of liability.

Hi Letty,

Thank you very much for your information. Because I chose nurse practitioner school so it was expensive. I changed to primary study area RN and it quote only $22. I think it is a good price :-). Happy Thanksgiving and see you in class soon.

Yea I have my Emt license and it made my application super expensive and complicated. I'm glad I started early because they have to mail me forms that I have to fill out with a copy of our schools liability and my written statement before they can insure me!:(
