San Joaquin Delta ADN Spring 2015

Anyone who is applying for the Spring 2015 ADN program at San Joaquin Delta College care to share info with one another? A thread hasn't started yet and the application is set to be opening on September 2. Does anyone know the point range cutoff from last semester? I hope this is the last application I have to submit... Good luck to everyone!!!

Facebook and their new privacy settings, who has time to figure that out? Anyway, I switched the group to public, hoping that might make it so you can search for it. My personal settings are private, though, so maybe that's the problem?

Okay! Has anyone started looking into purchasing a PDA yet? I want to see if I can find a good deal during Black Friday but I'm not sure which ones are good.

I'm a pencil and paper kind of gal, so I plan to use my phone and just get a bigger SD card.

I am too but I'm pretty sure you can't bring phones into the clinical setting because of HIPPA so they require you to purchase a PDA for referencing in clinical.

Hm, but since things like tablets can Bluetooth and Wi-fi, and you can use call and text apps through them, I don't see the point in making a distinction. Do they check PDA's to make sure they don't have Bluetooth or Wi-fi capabilities? Do they even make those? I hadn't thought about this yet, but Black Friday sales would be the time to get one.

I got your pm and invite! And yea I think that you specifically have to have a PDA because they don't allow you to do anything but reference stuff on them using apps I believe

I will be at st joes tomorrow and if I see any ADN students I will ask if they are allowed to use their phones. There is no point in spending any more money if we don't have to. Btw, I didn't find any of the fb groups.

I received an email at my Delta student account this morning that clears up my earlier E*value questions. It also gives the correct class codes.

Okay I just changed my group to public and looked it up on someone else's FB and was able to search for it. It's under SJDC Nursing program class of 2016 it also has a coffee mug as the icon and a black and white photo as the cover photo :)

I called the office for clarification we have to start the two part TB testing after nov 20th but it must be done and uploaded by dec 8. They said if you are up to date on immunizations you don't need titers. So the only tired I need is to prove I had the chicken pox.
