  1. Hello Thanh, The insurance is that expensive if you already hold a professional license such as a license for vocational nursing. You would think it would be less :/ remember to call them back once you buy it because they have to add the student policy to your certificate of liability.
  2. No luck in finding that group in fb.
  3. Hello all, I was at st joes today and I talked to a couple of delta adn students and asked them the PDA question. They said they are allowed to use their phones, however; only to reference nursing material. The students said the school will actually provide the tool we will need on our cell phones it's called Nursing Central I think, and the best part is that's its free :) Woohoo!
  4. I will be at st joes tomorrow and if I see any ADN students I will ask if they are allowed to use their phones. There is no point in spending any more money if we don't have to. Btw, I didn't find any of the fb groups.
  5. Lol. I'm in total disbelief myself. I look forward to meeting you as well. I'll guess I'll call again because they have not returned my call.
  6. E*value instructions will be emailed to you and same error on the handbook so I'm just going to wait for the actual handbook next week. I am attending on the 20th btw.
  7. Hi Deralynn, yes I signed up for St Joes as well. So did they give you the right code? I left a message already about the skills class 33A. Is anyone else signing up for it?
  8. Hello future classmates, I'm having a bit of difficulty with the class schedule. I was able to enroll in nurseadn001, nurseadn001L and NurseAdN003A. However, the study skills code and the code for nurseadn002 and 002L are not registering. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  9. Hello kk, I understand that it has to be ordered by 11/14. The drug screen took one day for results. The background takes longer.
  10. Oh that. Yes I took my wiz quiz on Thursday I have yet to hear from them.
  11. Hi Deralynn, you've been busy lol. I had my exam last Friday but my Dr warned me that he needs time for the forms. I'm unsure about taking the skills class sheesh we have enough on our plates as it is withought another class to worry about, but I'm thinking about it. What is this wiz quiz you talk about?
  12. Hello, The first day of clinical is 1/20 and that is also the first day we will need liability insurance. Do we count the administer date or result date of the second ppd from the first day of class? I made an appointment for my 2nd ppd 11/21 to be read 11/24. Does anybody else have this concern?
  13. Hello, I got in! I'm traveling from the east bay :/ I am so bummed about the immunization schedule. I had a ppd on 8/2014 and a flu shot last month. As far as I understand, I'm only required to get the 2nd ppd. They make this a nightmare for our healthcare providers. I hope kaiser will be able to do all that is required. Can't wait to meet you all. Good luck to the people who are waiting, please don't give up. It's taken me a long time to finally say I'm in!
  14. Good morning all, Indeed, the final application status has been changed to 11/5. The original date was 11/3. I wish the nursing department would adhere to the same rules we play by. Good luck and see you on 11/5 unless they change it again.
  15. Hello everybody, November 5th? Whatever happened to November 3rd? The suspense is killing me.. Ugh! Good luck to all.
