Hi everyone. Im wondering if any of you are planning on applying to San Jac ADN program or are in the program? Also, when applying will you be using option A, B or both? Lets talk about it here. :redbeathe

sanjac cpr for healthcare providers schedule...let me know if anyone is interested! i have called aha to find out if there is another location for a cheaper fee; however, i have not received a response. i will post when i get the info. from aha.

instruction in lifesaving skills of respiratory and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children, and infants. must meet requirements of certifying agency. required for nurses, emt's and other allied health professionals involved with clinical patient care, nursing students, and the general public. includes two-person adult, two and one person child and infant cpr and obstructed airway, and aed training. a cpr card is issued upon completion.

How do you know if you have been accepted to the regular/hybrid session? Whats the indication, besides the choices you gave?

My email stated that I was accepted to the "Fall 2010 Associate Degree EVENING Nursing program".

I replied to reserve my spot but I guess that still doesn't mean anything until I go to Orientation and they tell me that it is OFFICIAL!!!!

What did yours read?

Ya, mine even had the "Evening" underlined...

ok, i spoke with robert @ rc health services he is located in pearland; however, he said he could come to us if we needed him too. he has certified many sanjac nursing students and also certifies at lonestar college. aha provided me with his information.

below is the information:

regular cost: $50

8 students+ (same class) – cost: $40/person.

students (schedule any day: provide him w/my name) - cost: $45/person.

he mentioned to me if the class is large enough he can do a sunday with multi instructors.

we receive ~

- aha - bls for “healthcare provider” card after completion of the class. expires: 2yrs

- manual

- cd

july 14th, 15th, 19th, 21st, 22nd, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 31st

time:

9 am - 12 pm

It almost seems to good to be true!!

Done by the LaPorte EMS. Saturday, August 7th. 8:30 AM. Seven spots left.. get calling!! There is someone there right now, I just registered not too long ago (all you need to give is name & phone number.)

Don't we need to bring in the CPR card at the orientation? If we do..isn't Aug7th a little late? If not..then why not? Or does it matter at all?

Deadline for all documents is Aug 16th!!!

Yes I saw that too. I thought they might ask about the CPR card.

Oh well, lets take the plunge then.
