This stuff is so awesome. It's amazing how far we've come in medical science.

Does anyone know how to work # 6 on pg 281 in the Math for Meds?
Never mind. I perservered and figured it out. Now on to ch 19. Is anyone else having fun with Math for Meds?
I think you're the only one right now. I'm not worrying about that till after skills check off.
My weekend has been more of why was my math grade input as an 80 and not a 100? E-mailed Dr. **** and he told me it was probably a mistake. He apologized for any undue stress. Can't wait till I see him on Tuesday : D
Did he forget about our meeting last Thurs? Well at least he acknowledged that you made a 100. I thought I would work on the math chs this week so I could study next weekend for Health Assessment.
I think he said he wanted us to study over us staying. I vote on Tuesday we chain him down and force him to tell us what his nefarious plans are. And I wouldn't mind being on that picture taking team. Another way to spread my evil influence. . .heheh.
I always run out of things to do on the weekend, so I'm thinking the math and med term will keep me happy next week.

no potentially libelous information about specific schools, instructors, or health care facilities/entities should be posted in these forums. while it is important to be able to network, everyone should be mindful of the following:it is a small world - when we narrow it down to a state and throw in some personal info, there is actually a pretty good chance someone may recognize you if you are not careful. your privacy is paramount to us.while allnurses.com is a wonderful place to vent (without excess personally identifiable details) it is not the place to express why ("x" specific person, place or program) is terrible. gripe away, but since we cannot permit allegations to be made about named entities, your care in not naming them is very much appreciated.please do not give out personal information about others. do not name names where anyone could identify the person in any facility including your nursing programs.
names have been removed from several posts.
Well then we'll refer to him as Mr. *. So he said he would keep us for Intermediate Skills after all. I guess that means we're going to Cornerstone for our clinicals.
Not necessarily. He just said he knew for Intermediate Skills. For clinicals, he has no idea because they still don't have a clue as to what hospitals are available.
And I honestly could care less if my name is used. If somebody wants to waste their time to try and steal my identity, then let them. That's some hard work right there.
Thanks for the clarification on the clinicals. See you in a little while.
No problem.
So what was Mrs. * talking about to you guys? She was speaking really softly and I couldn't hear.
Also, I'm definitely going to stay tomorrow to do vitals. Except I'll have my equipment this time x_x And if you haven't gone, watch the video. As dumb as it is, it helps to see the order and how-to of it all if you're confused. We're all smart people though so I don't foresee any problems.
She was telling us that the best way to prepare for the head-to-toe assessment is to practice until it becomes 2nd nature. She also said that we might find the test next Monday a little more difficult than the 1st since it will be mostly application type questions.
Good thing I finished MNL because I know have time to prepare for Monday's test.
