San Francisco State University (SFSU) Spring 2025 BSN Program

Hello everyone, I wanted to make a forum for us applying to SFSU's Spring 2025 cohort for the BSN program to hopefully discuss the application and maybe some other questions we have. It might be helpful for us and future applicants as well!

Has anyone heard anything today? Also, did anyone receive an email about an interview? I saw that an interview was a possibility on their website so wanted to see if anyone knew anything about it.

I just called the office for you guys. They told me that they will send out an email to you by the end of this week for the result of your application.

Hi Guys! I wanted to introduce myself, provide information, and ask questions. 

My stats are: 

3.9 overall GPA, 3.89 Cumulative GPA, 85.3% TEAS, CNA school, and 130+ hours of volunteer service at Kaiser Permanente, and I am a current student at SFSU. 

So far, I have been waitlisted at CSUEB and given scholarship acceptance at the Dominican University of California. 

This morning, I asked the nursing department when they would release decisions, and they told me they would send decisions sometime this week. 

Furthermore, I wanted to congratulate those who were accepted at SFSU and CSUEB! 

My question to those who were accepted is, are you current SFSU students or transfers? 

Nice to meet you all, and good luck to those who are waiting to hear back from nursing schools!

Hi! I was accepted and I am a current student at SFSU. 

My stats were 4.0 PreReqs GPA, 88% TEAS Score, CNA Certified, 100 Hours of Volunteer Work at Kaiser Permanente Redwood City, and Work for the Underserved Community (Gator Groceries/Food Pantry on campus).

my stats are no where near as good as everyone else which makes me so worried. 

the only thing going for me is my 1000 hours as a CNA

If you got waitlisted at east bay they cant be that bad! I didn't even make waitlist at csueb with my stats they just straight up denied me 🤣
