San Francisco State University (SFSU) Spring 2025 BSN Program

Hello everyone, I wanted to make a forum for us applying to SFSU's Spring 2025 cohort for the BSN program to hopefully discuss the application and maybe some other questions we have. It might be helpful for us and future applicants as well!

Oh OK. They say how long the university takes to send out the official acceptance emails?

No, they did not know. Admissions said that the nursing department has not yet sent the list of accepted students to the admissions office, so we will have to wait for updates as they come through.

Just got my waitlist email. For those who were accepted, how long do you have to accept?

Me too. This seems bizarre like they are sending emails one by one.

Was anyone accepted to CSUEB and didn't get into SFSU - or other way around?

Says to accept by the 15th and also says we're supposed to get an"offical" letter from the admissions office as well.

I got into SFSU but not CSUEB. There is got wait listed and I found out it was because of the way the HR at my work filled out the healthcare experience form. Something about they didn't check enough boxes so it made my application drop enough points that I got waitlisted.

Did you call and ask someone at the nursing dept why you got waitlisted? I wonder if the same thing happened with mine.. I think they only checked one on mine
