Hello everyone, I wanted to make a forum for us applying to SFSU's Spring 2025 cohort for the BSN program to hopefully discuss the application and maybe some other questions we have. It might be helpful for us and future applicants as well!

Hello, I got accepted but my gateway status is still the same. It says " currently under review by the impacted major department that you have applied to."

Did you get the same email email I got about being recommended by the nursing school? Does that mean I/we got in?

Hey! Yes, I got the same email about being recommended by the nursing school, but I'm honestly not sure what it means for final acceptance. My Gateway status still says "under review,” so I think we're still waiting for SF State's official approval. I'm gonna call them tomorrow to see if they can clarify. Fingers crossed we get confirmation soon!

I called school the school of nursing, they have sent some emails out but they are still sending the others out. so according to them, they haven't sent all the acceptances out yet.

The recommendation email indicates acceptance into the nursing program, that's what they said when I called today. But I think we need to wait for the official acceptance from SF State.
