  1. I got an email about the orientation day for the nursing program today. You going to accept at sfsu?
  2. Personal statement questions maybe? Or more healthcare experience? I know at East Bay after a certain point the points you earn for TEAS and GPA get you max point in those categories. Maybe it's the same sort of situation at SFSU I got waitlisted at East Bay because of my healthcare experience form was filled out wrong by my supervisor.
  3. Thank you for the congrats. My stats were 3.97 overall GPA, I think I got a 4.0 science/nursing prereq GPA, 90.7 on the TEAS, and almost 5000 hours of experience as an EMT.
  4. Hey guys I just got my official email from the admissions office for entering into the school/nursing program!
  5. I was accepted at SFSU as a local transfer student and waitlisted at CSUEB. My stats were: 3.97 overall GPA, 3.87 science GPA, 90.7 TEA, near 5000 hours as an EMT. I haven't received the 2nd letter of acceptance from admissions yet.
  6. Has anyone heard about any movement on the waitlist or has anyone not accepted the offer at East Bay for a program somewhere else?
  7. If I got in you can too. Only place you didn't do better than me is experience. It seems them sending out the letters was kind of sporadic. I think the personal statement questions are important. It's kind of hard to know exactly why programs pick one student or the other. I know I got waitlisted at East Bay and when I asked where I could improve my application there was an issue with the form for healthcare experience which your employer has to fill out. So I lost points on that and ended up on the waitlist at east bay because of it and it sucks because I lost points on something beyond my control and that is the school I preferred.
  8. I got 3.97 overall GPA, a 3.87 science GPA (B in chemistry very terrible teacher), 90.7 on the TEAS, with almost 5,000 hours of experience as an emt. Also considered a local student.
  9. I haven't received anything yet but I just added the SFSU to the FASFA form for this year. I've only got the initial acceptance email not even the official admissions offer from the admissions office.
  10. I asked where I could improve my application for next time. Figured it would give me the same information as asking why I got waitlisted but with less resistance. I figured if I asked why I got waitlisted that I would be less likely to get the info I was looking for because it felt to close to asking what number I was on the waitlist, which we know they're not giving out that info.
  11. I got into SFSU but not CSUEB. There is got wait listed and I found out it was because of the way the HR at my work filled out the healthcare experience form. Something about they didn't check enough boxes so it made my application drop enough points that I got waitlisted.
  12. Says to accept by the 15th and also says we're supposed to get an"offical" letter from the admissions office as well.
