San Francisco State University (SFSU) BSN Fall 2024

Started my application for SFSU's BSN program Fall '24! Is anyone willing to share their stats? I'm so nervous. 
Prereqs GPA: 3.80
TEAS: 90.0 
Healthcare exp: 480 hours
Local & Bilingual.

Does anyone know how many students get accepted for the Fall cohort? TIA! ?

I'm applying to the Spring 2025 cohort and I just wanted to ask how important healthcare experience is for SF State? I have my CNA license and volunteer hours but I want to do something with my CNA license. How many CNA work hours would be ideal/competitive?

it seems like the more hours the better. I had ~2000+ hours as an EMT during Spring 2024 applications and I still got put on the back of the waitlist. And that was with a 4.0 and a 89.4 on the TEAS

2000+ hours of MA experience, 78.7 TEAS, 3.85 GPA

I'm so nervous ?

This is terrifying. Your stats are amazing you should have gotten accepted

I'm not.. This process is so discouraging. I feel like I have no chance at all. My second year in a row applying

Yeah this whole admission process is crazy. And we have a shortage of nurses ? at least have more seats available or change some of the requirements. I hope you get in this fall!

Thank you so much love. It's actually insane that their solution for California nursing students right now is making the programs more competitive instead of just offering more spots. No one talks about how hard this is.

I agree. It's so discouraging. I hope we all hear good news. I'm also waiting on the fall 2024 results.

Hii, I applied to SFSU, CSUEB (my top choice), Sonoma State, Chico State, SJSU, also SDSU but idek if they have a nursing CAS? I already heard back from Evergreen Valley college and they denied me cause my application was incomplete ? but yeah I hope I get accepted to East Bay, it's only a 20 min drive from me

*** I don't know anything about SDSU either? literally have had nothing from them. I applied to SFSU, Sonoma, and Chico too! I need to send my Chico nursingcas still. Do you know which programs need the TEAS transcripts sent to them?
