San Francisco State University (SFSU) BSN Program

Has anyone gotten a response from the SFSU BSN Program? I emailed someone a while ago and they said it would be rolling around sometime between April and May (how vague :zzzzz). I am just a nervous wreck as everyone else waiting for their ACCEPTANCES (positive thinking!). I think I'm going insane checking the website once or twice a day :banghead:. I've read somewhere around this forum that people have already been admitted or denied into the MSN program and the Accelerated BSN @ the Canada branch, but I applied at the main campus.

Mine says status in incomplete because I have an in progress class for which I need to send transcripts by February. Did you have anything in progress upon application? If so, at what point did it change to "under review by nursing"? Did it then change to "condit. accepted" days before getting your letter?

So, my application status changed today from "Under review by Nursing Department" to " Conditionally Accepted" and my major is still listed as Nursing. Does this mean I got in for Fall 2010? Anybody know? I am freaking out! I declared the intent to register and I was also able to register for orientation for transfer students and my major is listed as Nursing there as well.

I so want it to be true!

I am also applied to SFSU for the Fall 2011 semester. I also applied to CSU Long Beach, Sac State and other CSU nursing schools in addition to Washington State U BSN and UNLV BSN. I'm torn between SFSU and CSULB as my 1st choice schools. Unfortunately, it seems that SFSU takes longer than other CSU's to make admission decisions and may be the most competitive of CSU BSN's even though CSULB and Sac State had higher NCLEX pass rates last year than SFSU. As of now, I've been accepted to various CSU's at the generic undergraduate level only, but haven't heard anything yet about nursing admission decisions. I was invited though to interview in 1.5 weeks for a CSULB BSN spot in Fall '11 so my propects look good there. Good luck to all applying!

i would like to announce that i have been accepted to the bachelors program at University of San Francisco from a community college :)

i just wanna say to all the hard working students out there that all your commitment and hard-work will definitely pay off, never stop believing and always stay positive. Never let anyone say you cant get into a program or have any doubt in your capabilities because any committed student can make it!

I just received an email from sfsu nursing department. It says that I am on the waitlist... Any suggestions on what I should do next? I really want to go to SFSU...

I also received an email today from SFSU's nursing department saying I'm on the waitlist. Does anyone know of any statistics on people of the waitlist getting into the program or when people usually find out when they are picked from the waitlist?
