Has anyone gotten a response from the SFSU BSN Program? I emailed someone a while ago and they said it would be rolling around sometime between April and May (how vague :zzzzz). I am just a nervous wreck as everyone else waiting for their ACCEPTANCES (positive thinking!). I think I'm going insane checking the website once or twice a day :banghead:. I've read somewhere around this forum that people have already been admitted or denied into the MSN program and the Accelerated BSN @ the Canada branch, but I applied at the main campus.

i didnt apply to SFSU because im in SoCal but my friend got conditionally accepted if she finishes her prereqs for Spring 2011. im so happy for her! i wish i could have applied here but i dont even have statistics so it's okay. good luck to everyone!

Lucky me again that the person I work for is a former Sequoia nursing program. She can give me the advice I need. Great thing is she has all the books!! I dont have to buy the new books oh..la...la...la ~~

Thanks EMT for the encouragement...I have felt totally defeated since I found out. I asked what number I was on the list too, I was actually thinking I could spare $5-6K to pay someone for their spot (I know, how sad); guess that's why it's their policy to not tell. That makes me feel better that there are only 25 on the waitlist, I was thinking that there were like 150 and I could be number 149! :I

She did tell me that they originally did not admit me then decided to waitlist me though...so I am thinking I may be at the bottom of the list. I do have an app for Univ. of South Florida that I am trying to work though. SFSU and USF are the only 2 schools that I applied to. SFSU also told me that next year the TEAS will be a requirement, the GPA was going up, and there would be more prerequisites if we don't make it this year.

Hello everyone,

How do you know which BSN program you got accepted to? I was conditionally admitted for Spring 2011 but it did not say whether I am going to the program at Sequoia or SFSU. I just want to plan on where I am going to live.

Hi Puppyadobo...you are accepted to whichever one you applied to. If you said that you wanted to go to the off campus one, then it is Sequoia. From what I understand, you can only apply to one of the programs at a time, so when you have been checking your admission status online if it didn't say Nurse Sequoia Dept. the past few weeks/months then it is probably the regular BSN program on campus.

Congratulation MJ415! I just want to know what Supplemental criteria you fulfilled. my status just changed and my primary major changed to Recreation Therapy. I haven't received a mail yet. Am so worried, don't know if am in or out. Once again congratulation and i wish you the best in your studies.

Hi Kahmi...I am waitlisted for SFSU Sequoia program and my primary major changed to Biology...I am thinking that if your major changed on the application status site then you are probably on the wait list as well....I still have not received an email (or letter) yet either but I emailed that lady and she told me that I was waitlisted. The next day my major changed from nursing to biology.

I still haven't received an acceptance/rejection letter from SFSU. They changed my status on the 14th from under review by the nursing department to accepted for Physiology, but I still haven't received anything from the nursing dept. telling me whether they have accepted me or not. Has everyone on here that is a BSN applicant heard from them? Or are there still people in my boat? I'm worried because I thought they were supposed to have sent them by the 16th...
