San Diego City College 2019 Application Period

Hello everyone! I am planning to apply to the nursing program at San Diego City College (SDCC) this year. I did not find a board for this topic, probably because it's still early in 2019, but I like what others have done for previous application periods. I am starting CNA training on the 25th with the American Red Cross. That program ends in early April so I will have plenty of time to study for and take the TEAS. Has anyone has had experience with the American Red Cross CNA program? Has anyone else applying to SDCC had their transcripts evaluated? Also, when will you do your physical for the program?

Hi ! Yes a couple of weeks ago. What was your app number if u don’t mind me asking ? How wonder how big the pool is ?

I hope we get in to. I was excited when I got my number but there are still a few days left and a lot can change.

No I dont know anyone who is currently in, do you?

@tillymarie I know someone in the current program and someone is the program from fall 2018. Today's the last day to apply ?

Did you already get the email saying they received your submission?

Hoping to get in! I got in last year but had a cancer scare during the time they emailed and I didn’t reply my acceptance in time and they gave my spot to someone else. It seemed like there wasn’t as big a pool this year as last year. I hope someone who applied on the last day is able to post their application number. Last year I applied on the second to last day and my number was 152. This year I applied 7 days before the deadline and my number was 47. Maybe a lot of people apply on the last day??

I put my application in on 10/31 and was #107.
