The Red Cross gave me the option to take evening classes. The one at SDCC is during the week and I have a soon to be 10 month old at home. My husband will home in time for me to go to class. They also have a weekend option, but that starts later in the year.

Hello everyone! I am planning to apply to the nursing program at San Diego City College (SDCC) this year. I did not find a board for this topic, probably because it's still early in 2019, but I like what others have done for previous application periods. I am starting CNA training on the 25th with the American Red Cross. That program ends in early April so I will have plenty of time to study for and take the TEAS. Has anyone has had experience with the American Red Cross CNA program? Has anyone else applying to SDCC had their transcripts evaluated? Also, when will you do your physical for the program?

Hello all, I will be applying this September. I am studying now for the TEAS, but am wondering when to do my physical for the program. I just moved to this area from San Diego, so I have not yet gone to a workshop here. I did go to one before, in San Diego though. So far all I found on the webpage is that admission to the program is pending the physical and CPR card. Any information helps.
