Hello everyone! I am planning to apply to the nursing program at San Diego City College (SDCC) this year. I did not find a board for this topic, probably because it's still early in 2019, but I like what others have done for previous application periods. I am starting CNA training on the 25th with the American Red Cross. That program ends in early April so I will have plenty of time to study for and take the TEAS. Has anyone has had experience with the American Red Cross CNA program? Has anyone else applying to SDCC had their transcripts evaluated? Also, when will you do your physical for the program?
Thank you both for the reply’s! @Eviux25 when did your friend receive his/her rejection letter? I’m pretty positive I had everything to apply.
Ya I thought it was super weird! I figured they would let me know either way or I’ll constantly be wondering. I know you guys had orientation Monday so I figured there was no chance I was getting in now. I’ve tried calling several nursing staff and emailing and I have received no response. It’s driving me nuts! lol

Orientation was on Monday. Some people did not show up and since it was mandatory, I would think that their place in the program would be offered to the next-in-line applicants. Also, since City has a different timeline for applications, maybe some who got in will retract their acceptance once they get into their first choice program.
All hope is not lost!
