San Diego City College 2019 Application Period

Published

Hello everyone! I am planning to apply to the nursing program at San Diego City College (SDCC) this year. I did not find a board for this topic, probably because it's still early in 2019, but I like what others have done for previous application periods. I am starting CNA training on the 25th with the American Red Cross. That program ends in early April so I will have plenty of time to study for and take the TEAS. Has anyone has had experience with the American Red Cross CNA program? Has anyone else applying to SDCC had their transcripts evaluated? Also, when will you do your physical for the program?

I emailed those 4 docs in as well, Haven’t got a response back. I read that email 3x and I guess we just wait until 1/17 to get our add codes. A friends from last cohort said they never received an email confirmation, just an add code a week later. You all scanned and emailed the docs to [email protected]?

Yes, I submitted my forms to that email. I sent my forms a few hours after receiving the email and have not received an email confirmation which makes me nervous they didn’t get it. But, hearing that the other cohorts didn’t get an email either makes me feel a little better.

If anyone reading this has been accepted into the nursing class starting this fall, you can join the FB group for this cohort here:

Hi everyone!

I still haven’t heard anything back yet...I’m eagerly waiting. I’m not sure if that is good or bad. Does anyone know of anyone who has ever gotten denied from City and how long it took to receive the denial letter? I wasn’t sure if they would do that right from the start of the process or at the very end.

Hey there, I don’t sorry but no news can be good news. Did you get a confirmation email that they received your app?

Yes! I received a confirmation email awhile back after I turned in my application. Hopefully no news is good news...

I never ended up receiving an email... I was wondering if anyone was in the same boat? I’ve tried calling and no one is answering their phones either. I’m taking it as they don’t send out rejection letters?

I don’t think they send rejection letters. Have you tried emailing the email listed on the school website?

I guess not. I was hoping to get some kind of closure with it. I tried emailing and calling and I got no response. That’s okay, I’m applying to more schools in the area ??
