Hi all! Wanted to start a discussion for those who applied for Summer 2024 cohorts at Samuel Merritt so we can support each other. I applied to the Oakland and San Mateo campuses. I'm also excited to hear back if I got in to the Nursing Success Seminar January 2024 program. 

Oakland is my first choice as well. I submitted my application on November 1st. I reallllly hope we hear this week🥲 I've never been more stressed in my life lmao.

Lolllll me too! Really hope we hear before April since the fall app is due April 1st, I really don't want to spend the money and time on another app😭

for those who got admitted for San Mateo cohort 1, was that your first choice? 

I really hope they are trying to give applicants their first choice selections!

Hi, how do you get prompted to make an okta account? Did you have to be enrolled at SMU already? I haven't taken any classes at SMU before, so should I just wait to receive an email on my main email account? I don't have a SMU account either. Thanksss good luck everyone!

There's a zoom info session for SMU nursing on Thursday 3/14 if anyone wants to asks some questions. I cannot attend due to work so if anyone gathers info, I'd appreciate if you relayed it here! 🫶🏻

I asked a smu tech support to help me set up my okta account and they said that you have to get the official letter of acceptance on the email used in the app first before you can set an okta account. I told him I was still waiting to get admitted and he said only admitted and alumni can have okay account. Hope that helps!

Hoping hoping hoping that we all get the okta emails tonight and acceptances tomorrow since cohort 1 got theirs last Wednesday/ Thursday!! 🤞
