Samuel Merritt University (SMU) ABSN Summer 2024

Hi all! Wanted to start a discussion for those who applied for Summer 2024 cohorts at Samuel Merritt so we can support each other. I applied to the Oakland and San Mateo campuses. I'm also excited to hear back if I got in to the Nursing Success Seminar January 2024 program. 

Am I trippin or did they postpone the deadline for Oak and Cohort 2 San Mateo again?! March 15?? Ugh if that's the case, no wonder we aren't hearing back....

yeah they moved it! IDK when but last week the new deadline was 3/15 too. they should just notify the dec 1 applicants already instead of making us wait this long 😭

Do you think were going to have to wait a few more weeks now since they have a whole new batch of applications to go through?!! This is crazy. How is it possible to pushback a deadline  3.5 months?!

I just called admissions and they said we will all be notified no later than March 22nd...

Yes! Wishing you best of luck! I have a feeling they don't have as many applicants as they have in the past with all the negative student reviews. I'm thinking you will all get in 🙂

I didn't realize I only applied to the ABSN Summer, didn't notice ABSN fall when I applied...interesting.
