Hi! Starting this thread for anyone applying to Samuel Merritt University Fall 2021 BSN program. Feel free to drop your stats!

If reapplying, did you have to resubmit your transcripts? 
or did they just transfer over?

No I didn’t resubmit, nursing cas did it. Check Status on the top page.

Hello all, 

also applying to the program, I have average stats but work as a BT so hoping that helps. I scored 88% on my TEAS. Thinking about taking the HESI as well since they pushed the deadline to the 16th. 

What website or testing center did you guys use for taking the HESI?

I definitely think you have a great chance of getting in with the 88! Based off last cycle they seem to really like people with work experience and you have that too!! I’d say don’t retake it unless you have nothing better to do, as the TEAS and HESI are set up differently and it will require a lot of studying.

I asked ----------------------- last week and she said 350 open apps but most likely not all of them will submit

If you took the HESI through elsevier, was a calculator provided for the whole math section? Or just some problems?

They were kind of all over the place with communication for Spring 2021. It seems like they got a lot of applicants for fall as well so I would not expect much from them when it comes to relaying info... LOL
