I submitted my initial package on the 1st of December, on the due date. I resubmitted it during the academic update process on Dec 23, they received my updated transcript on January 5, and process on January 18. Hope this help with your status ? .

That is not possible. Everyone must receive an email whether they move on or not, whether they get accepted or not. If you don’t receive one by the date, email them.

On the last application cycle I had a few things to correct and I submitted my application months before the deadline. I didn’t get an email about corrections until the day before the end of the prelim phase. Everyone has to receive a prelim email, even if it’s for corrections.

Those are not usually made until application decisions go out and then those who got accepted will do that.

Has anyone here tried the portal at all? I saw on last years forum students were using it to keep track of their application, but it says its for Admitted Students, so I didn't try anything. I was wondering if anyone here has taken a look at it

Check the timeline again, it says we don't hear back until march 30th.

Has anyone taken prerequisite courses at SMU? If so, did the student portal say you were an admitted student?
