Hey guys! I've been lurking on here a bit, Im in the ELMSN Fall 2021 group and ran into this one.

hey @StarlaB and @Alejandra Arandia which programs are you waiting emails back for? In the other group ELMSN CM started receiving interview requests! From last years cohort and previous, there were emails still going out until almost the end of Feb so I know the wait isn't over yet, but I m staying positive too!

This is the timeline I received from SMU on 12/30 so I assume that they will email soon.

eeekkk!! Hopefully the whole nursing program is on the same or similar timelines. It would be super exciting to hear this coming week on whether I get invited to an interview. Sending good vibes to everyone this week! ??

I only received this regarding the BSN, I received nothing regarding my FNP application. I think the BSN is a little bit more straightforward since they don’t do interviews, hence they probably don’t want to commit to a timeline? ?‍♀️

True true, I agree with you, I see how the interviews can push back or change the timeline. The timeline in the email does somewhat coincide with the forum timelines of the years before, BUT we have to take into consideration the pandemic and other new factors that may apply this year. Ugh, Im just so nervous and anxious. I thought I was stressed during the application process, but the waiting after is excruciating LOL

They have just extended the review stage for BSN until March 1st.  Keep your strength you guys/girls!! We got this!

I just found out another school I've applied to has also delayed their response, I need to keep myself busy.

Honestly these forums are like a Nursing Applicant Support Group.

I agree and these forums have been very helpful.  The wait is brutal and I keep going back to the essay questions.  Did I write enough? Did I come across clear? Maybe I should not have mentioned this and mentioned that instead? or I could have elaborated a little more?

hahahaha don't even get me started on how much I've reread my personal statements and where I thought I could add, remove, edit, etc after fact. LOL Its funny because I want to hear back from them so bad...as long as it is good news LOL
