Hey MiShie,
We were talking about the HESI/TEAS score. I believe some of us took the test after closeout but could still be turned in via email. The deadline for turn-in is the 18th of December, I believe.

Hi to all!
I am unsure of what my GPA is for prereq and science as I still have two pre reqs (microbio and nutrition) to take! I recieved A's on most, recieving 2 B's for Chem and Soc, and sadly 1 C for child development.
I have other certifications pertaining to Covid Contact Tracing and Cultural/ Competent Nursing care as well as partaking in online volunteering services due to Covid for many months!
I have read from another person that SMU may not require the HESI? Who knows LOL, but I am sure there will be other factors that will play a role in one's admission other than GPA ?

The exams were waived for Spring 21 admission but they were reinstated for fall 21 admission. They also gave an extension to make sure scores got in so I don't think they'll dismiss that as a factor when making decisions.

Hey,
You can do GPA calculation on your own, I attached a link below. Please remember they are calculating transferrable credits. As for the Science portion, they will only calculate what you have accomplished but will take into consideration that you have not completed Microbiology. (Could be a hinder or a plus depending on how competitive it is) I believe Nutrition falls under other transferrable credits. Either HESI or TEAS are acceptable test and are required going forward starting Fall 2021 applicant. (You only need one or the other for application so pick the highest score).
