I wanted to start this discussion for all applicants of the ABSN Summer 2018 cohorts at Samuel Merritt University. Please feel free to share your thoughts so we can support each other!

On the student portal it says my deposit wasn't received yet even though I paid it. Is this because there actually needs to be someone in the office to process this, it being the weekend and all?

Are you doing the fnp? That's totally different, any program that's a masters level or above is eligible for a lot more loans! Just the ABSN is limited on federal loans.

I'm getting some family help and paying outright so i didn't fill out fafsa but when I originally applied I was planning to do all private loans. This is my second career and I still have a ton of debt from my first career (law school). :( :( :(

I received a phone call today offering me a spot in San Mateo (April start)! I'm so excited! :)

Should we start a Facebook group for our cohorts? Eg a Sf peninsula summer 2018 ABSN group?

Also, I just signed up for the cpr training with the company they have a discount with, I'm doing it March 3 at Chinese hospital in sf, anyone else?!

Hello everyone. I received an email at 7am offering me admission for April cohort. I was 8 on the waitlist. Can't wait to meet you all. Best of luck to everyone else on the waitlist.
