Hi everyone!

I have also applied for both the ABSN and ELMSN-FNP tracks for the Oakland campus. I submitted my application 11/30/2017.

I graduated from UC Davis in 2016 with a BS in Cell Biology. HESI A2 cumulative score was a 91.6%. My pre-req GPA is a 3.8, cumulative GPA from all the schools I have attended is probably a 3.2??? I have done a lot of volunteering in health care related settings involving those who are underserved. Currently working as a research assistant at Stanford School of Medicine.

Hello endodiabpnp, did you received an automated confirmation letter after submitting from SMU for both applications or just one? I submitted two but they only sent me one, I'm wondering if I should contact them about it.

Hi PangolinSaja! I only received 1 email thanking me for my submission and then 1 email for passing some sort of preliminary phase. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Hello All, I submitted my application for the ABSN prgm on the 29th. Exciting to see that we can interact here before we meet (fingers-crossed). My app status: verified.

I submitted my app. Hopefully, I can get in. I never considered the ELMSN. I wouldn't be able to qualify just because I don't have any volunteer/healthcare experience.

What should I be doing until March? I am thinking of retaking my Micro, English, and maybe Psych. I took all those classes like 10-11 years ago and got Bs in them.

For the ELMSN-FNP, it says that you need a letter of reference from a health care professional. How did you guys manage to get that? Where would I find a suitable volunteer experience for that?
